For My Master’s Thesis at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, I explored the history of the Paetzold Bass Recorder family, and the innovators who are responsible for the creation of the contemporary Paetzold repertoire.
I worked with four composers: Lillie Harris, Asha Parkinson, Andrea Guterres and Verena Barié to premiere four new works that used the Paetzold recorder in an innovative way.
